I’ve lived in the local area for the last 12 years and I’ve always had an interest in honeybees and as a busy, married family man of two young children I needed a hobby!

I adopted an allotment as I had an interest in gardening and growing my own fruit and vegetables for my family and friends.

I eventually found my passion for Bees, when my wife gifted me a beekeeping course in 2022, this begin my journey into beekeeping. Regularly researching new skills, and ways to keep the bees healthy and happy ensuring they remain in the hives provided earning the name “Beekeeper” and preventing them from swarming.

My 7-year-old son has taken a keen interest and loves to help take care of the bees, he is currently learning how to care and look after the colonies. Taking his learnings into school and spreading the word of the importance of bees in the world.
